Restylane / Perlane

There are several factors that contribute to aging skin, one of which is a loss of hyaluronic acid. As a result, your skin can begin to develop wrinkles and folds. Restylane adds volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the lines from your nose to the corner of your mouth (laugh lines), marionette lines, lipstick lines, and corner of your mouth. Restylane works immediately by replacing lost volume to smooth away wrinkles. A clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid, Restylane is specifically formulated to act like your body's own hyaluronic acid.

Perlane is another member of the Restylane collection of products. Perlane restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. What makes Perlane different is the average size of the particles and the depth of the injection. On average, the gel particles in Perlane are larger than those in Restylane. Perlane is a good choice for wrinkles that benefit from a deeper injection into the skin.

There is little to no downtime associated with Restylane or Perlane and the treatment takes around 30 minutes.
